back/back/back to the beginning   
i should have snared you in grade school   
strapped you to the hood of my car  
 
and driven off a cliff into the sunset   
(where we implode)   
 
 
palms out/groping/reaching/starved through with desperation   
to lift this mask to open this casing and go on to the next   
layers keeping me warm-warm sweet and still in the grey place   
/as the cobwebs kiss and caress/   
and force me to contemplate the forever  
 
the horror of asphodel when The Phoenix and theWitchhunter

enoughmy heart--like a gong--   
resonating   
in the cramped chamber of chest space   
threatening to throttle me senseless   
leaving me vulnerable and helpless   
like the dizzying tide sucking at my brain   
it's enough to squeeze out a scream   
and scrabble for any escape   
 
 
my skin--seamed and stained--   
where your fingers scalded my flesh   
these invisible haunts   
where you may as well have left fresh paint   
to stake your claim   
so insistently does the flesh throb   
so apparent e enough

beyond the suggestion of...the bear jaws snap down trapping my brain in a migraine   
suicidal tendencies and tsol echo somewhere beyond my eyes   
despite what's being played on the radiorockstation   
my hands struggle to follow a supercharged chocolate recipe   
but the sensation doesn't abate   
of being in a washer on the spin cycle   
trying to make sense of the letters on the page takes aching long minutes   
aggravating the spikes in my head   
my stomach twists and plummets   
the indicative flaregun of something out of sight going terribly wrong

has not gone so well for me. i have been manic for most of it, or rapidly cycling between normal, manic, and depressed during the course of a day. (things may look up soon with the discovery of a new doctor. i hope.)

mostly, though, i am just irritated. the shaking of my hands caused by the higher dosage of medication renders painting and drawing almost impossible, more often than not. i could not model for the life of me. i have barely been able to work on the fantasy manuscript, and i've been absolutely livid that i should have so many fantastic ideas for horror and am unable to do more than drop a bare-bones outline on notebook paper.

things will change soon, though. i can taste it.

(so, in short, i apologize for not posting since gods-know-when.)
